How do I know if this is a bill for gas or electricity or both?

If you’re an electricity and gas customer, you’ll generally receive your electricity and gas bills in a single statement which is made up of:

• Overall payment and cost summary
• Electricity invoice
• Gas invoice

Your electricity and gas invoices will be clearly labelled. For example, the first page of your electricity invoice will be labelled ‘Details of charges for electricity’ and the second page will have ‘Electricity usage details’.

Sometimes you may not receive a gas invoice. This depends on whether we received a gas-meter reading during your billing period
