How to top up for Smart Pay as You Go

How do I get a Smart Pay As You Go product? 

We will be offering a Smart Pay As You Go product to existing and new customers who have a smart meter present at their property and have a connectivity level of 4. If you feel that you might qualify you can contact our Customer Service team on 0818 81 22 20 and they will check to see if you are eligible before you sign up to this product.  

Ways to top-up 

There is no need to input long codes into the meter as the top-up goes directly to the Smart Pay As You Go meter, no matter what top-up option you choose. 

  1. The easiest way to top up is through the Smart Pay As You Go app
  2. You can also top up your electricity online through your online account.  
  3. Alternatively, if you prefer to top up in store, you'll be issued with a Smart Pay As You Go card, please keep this safe. You can top up through approved Payzone outlets. Find your nearest Payzone outlet here: payzone.ie/paywithpayzone. Please allow 10 minutes for your credit to be updated in your wallet. Please be aware that using an unauthorized vending facility may cause difficulties with your supply. 

Note: If you don’t have a Smart Pay As You Go card or have lost yours, please contact us (link to contact us page) and we'll issue you with a replacement electricity card free of charge.
